Item Description
Each is almost 9" tall and done in the flat-plane carving style. Johnson is signed on foot "JE" and "LBJ 15A." Kennedy has "Gunnersson" signed on left foot. Ike features a 5/8" "Ike Nixon" litho button and has the bottom of its feet painted black. The characteristics of the Ike lead us to believe it was produced by Gunnerson. Erikson was from Rockford, MI and Gunnersson is from Stockholm, Sweden. Both are master carvers of this style and have a produced an array of political figures. All are NM displaying Mint. Julie Powell Collection.
