Item Description
Each is glazed ceramic with handle and hat that forms a spout to each side. All are marked under the base "Napoleon Jug/Pat. Apl. For/Alfred B. Evans/Phila. Pa." This text is clear on the two smaller, readable on the largest and barely visible on the third largest. Numerous 1896 campaign items combine McKinley and Napoleon as McKinley was known for his support of high tariffs and nicknamed "The Napoleon Of Protection." Smallest is 4.25" tall. Exc. Second is 6.25" tall. Extensive stain to interior of hat and handle. Also along base. No chips or cracks. Third largest is 8" tall. Interior stain and around outer edge at belt line height. Tallest is 9.5". Very clean and bright. Exc. Julie Powell Collection.
