Item Description
Higbee was a department store founded in Cleveland, OH in 1860. This 5.25x5-5/8" cardstock menu dates to the 1940s and is Christmas-themed. Front features great Santa Claus illustration and menu opens to reveal menu w/additional Santa images. Small vintage paper clip attaches printed card w/"Teeny Tiny Chicken Pie" offer. Back cover of menu features full body image of Superman w/"Higbee Toytown Brings You Superman - See Superman In An Exciting Marionette Show...See Him Make An Heroic Rescue At The north Pole. See Him Win A Great Victory Over His Enemies. A Grand Free Show For Boys And Girls!" text. Menu has lt. even aging and trace oxidation from paper clip, but o/w VF.
