©1978 DC Comics, Inc. Impressive lot of production art, original art and negatives used in the production of the Superman Movie thermos from Aladdin. Lot includes publicity photos of baby Superman in spaceship, Lois deep in thought and a sheet w/four photo images of Perry, Jimmy, Superman and toddler lifting truck. All of these images were directly used in the Thermos design. Also a small b/w shot of Superman with pencil tracing on reverse and a color slide of Superman portrait. Includes original black ink art of Clark changing into superman on layout paper. Some torn edges and white out used. Next is positive film with lt. crease mounted on board w/loose and three bluelines with ink to show tones for color plates and additional positives. 13 full negatives in group w/four mounted to impression paper and another group of partial negative pieces used in the creative process. All pieces Exc. as production pieces. Extensive group for thermos design. Last item is large 22x32.5" color press proof w/colorbars for complete Superman lunchbox, both sides and wrap. Exc.
