Item Description
4x6x1" deep illustrated cardboard box contains complete set No. 96 (see catalog, previous item #2058) by Daisy Manufacturing Company, 1940. Box features flying image of Superman along w/pistol and "Supermen Of America" logo as well as filmstrip design. Box is evenly aged and has sight inward warping w/some creasing. .25" tear at one end, but o/w Fine. 6" long pressed steel picture pistol w/metallic black finish. Gun is missing bulb and as such has not been tested. Gun exhibits very little wear and is about as nice as these come. Exc. Comes w/16mm Superman filmstrip titled "Remaking A Heavyweight Champ" boxing theme story. Exc. Final item is instruction paper w/list of films on back and this includes image of Superman as well as Red Ryder. Evenly aged w/scattered handling wear. Fine. Scarce as boxed.
