Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 5" tall tin litho toy w/built-in key. Made in Japan by TPS. 1960s. Box is complete w/insert and features illustration of toy in action w/"The Cute Kid With The Comical Eyes And The Wig Wag Walk" description. Box has some scattered wear w/some creasing. Bright and clean, VF overall. Toy works and entire body shakes side to side as it moves around and its separate tin eyes move in and out of the eye socket openings so when eyes are fully extended, figure has quite an unusual appearance. Toy has had some factory paint touch-ups to sides of face, but these blend somewhat. Some minor paint nicks/scratches and spots of aging where metal fasteners connect on front. Still glossy and VF overall. Scarce. See following item #1177.
