Item Description
This 1.75" button is a superb and essentially Mint high gloss example. Reverse holds J. H. Shaw, Philadelphia paper. Spring pin holds 4.5" ribbon promoting the Pennsylvania "Whole Republican Ticket" and dated for election day "Nov. 4th 1924". Ribbon has only the most minor thread separation within the fold of the fabric crease above the word "And". The Hake guide shows the button, without ribbon, as Hake #1. An outstanding example complete as issued and in superior condition. Don & Mildred Wright Collection.
