Item Description
3.25" tall pressed steel frame thermometer w/tin litho insert. Character Art Manufacturing Co., 1930s. Back has easel and top has loop for hanging. Insert depicts Mickey Mouse standing atop Pluto's doghouse holding a stick. Designed w/separate tin piece for Mickey's head/arm and the stick itself is designed to point at the temperature. Complete w/glass cover. Insert shows slight trace of aging, red case has scattered paint nicks/scratches. Metal loop for hanging on reverse has some oxidation. Fine. Great design.
