Item Description
Each is a 13/16" litho from gum company that also issued button sets for presidents, movie stars, and a few others. The water soluble inks used on these buttons were a magnet for dirt and dust but this group is exceptionally clean with little paint wear and very even coloration on all with the exception of Simmon's who is a little darker colored towards the top of the button. The four missing players are Cuyler, Ferrell, Grantham and Ruffing. Among the major stars in the group are Lou Gerhig and 'Dizzy' Dean. There is a small dent on the lower portion of the Cissel button. Vast majority are Exc. to NM.
