Item Description
All pieces are c. 1930s or perhaps a little earlier. The three brass medallions are 1.25" each with a loop at the top joined to a double strand 15" cord to go around the neck. These were designed for various officers with one medallion including crossed keys, another a lyre, and another a pair of crossed feathers although the tip of one is missing. Otherwise all three pieces are essentially Mint. The ribbon badges are each 6" tall each on a cardboard backing board and each with a cardboard folder specifying the office name represented by the badge. Each hanger has identical text "Pride Of 214 Lodge/No. 116." Each badge has a ribbon backing, red white and blue on the front although black on the reverse so the piece could be switched around for use at member funerals. Hanger has large chain links suspending enamel on brass badge holding the text quoted in our title. In addition the hanger has a small loop suspending a brass symbol representing the office. The only one without a symbol is for the office of "President" as per the label on the cardboard holder. This was probably a pair of crossed hammers as these hammers appear on the badges designated Vice-President and Past President. Other badge titles are Collector, Warden, Treasurer, Musician, Inner Guard, Chaplin, Chairman Trustees. The cardboard holders have scattered minor age but the badges themselves are all pretty much in close to Mint as issued condition. A very impressive group.
