Item Description
9" long mostly tin litho toy c. late 1950s by Horikawa, Japan. Box has trace of staple rust, mostly on the plain bottom. Left side of lid has faint moisture stain and some smudges. Box remains tight, Fine. Toy is marked "Space Patrol" and pilot is seated behind double barrel gun which has plastic cover. Also has detailed control panel with TV screen showing space scene. Works and travels around with bump-and-go action. As gun unit moves, lights and produces a firing sound. Scattered tiny paint nicks but remains totally bright and glossy. Exc. Great design. The box for this toy is rare.
