Item Description
9" long mostly tin litho by Masudaya, Japan. 1960s. Version in box with illustrated lid, also came in a window box with different illustrations. Box has light edge wear, top right corner of lid has 1" spot with surface paper loss. Still tight, Fine and has insert. Toy is marked "USA-NASA Apollo" and features a pair of astronauts with vinyl heads. One is behind the ship's controls, the other "floats" as attached by a wire. Works with bump-and-go action, flashing lights and "beep-beep" sound. Attached figure also revolves. Pinpoint paint nicks but as produced. N. Mint.
