Item Description
Wheaties scarce premium ring from 1940 known as "Jack Armstrong Dragon's Eye Ring." The design is the same as the Buck Rogers ring of Saturn (see #1031) but this has a dark emerald green stone on the top while Buck has a red stone. Side bands are designed as crocodiles with open jaws. Ring glows in the dark and the plastic stone becomes the "Dragon's Eye" as it does not glow while the rest of the surrounding ring does. Lower ends of bands have tiny traces of darker color but over 90% of the bands are in clean creamy white plastic with excellent detailing on the crocodile bodies. The green stone is without crazing and cracking that occurred to a number of these since the year of issue. An Exc. example.
