Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 5" tall tin litho toy w/built-in key on side. Made in Japan, 1950s. Box is missing one inner flap and has professional repair to top flap hinge. Moderate scattered wear w/1" area of puncture to one main box panel. VG. Marx/Linemar made several similar Goofy wind-up toys, this toy is all tin litho except for rubber ears and hard rubber turtle attached where tail should be as pictured on box. Toy works, moving about as tail/turtle rapidly spins. Spot of red factory paint on throat as produced. Scattered minute paint nicks/scratches but bright and glossy. Minor oxidation to winding key. Fine. Scarce w/box.
