7.5" diameter by 8.5" tall toy comes in display box. 1960s by "LBZ," Western Germany. Lid has scattered wear with two corner splits, 1.5" puncture at center. Box is o/w tight and has inserts. Display windows intact. Fine. Top is tin litho and plastic with vacuform plastic three dimensional interior design depicting lunar surface. This includes images of astronauts and spacecraft. Attached to center post is 2" long hard plastic spaceship identical in design to the Thunderbird 2 from Gerry Anderson's Thunderbirds show. The inner surface also has 3 clear plastic areas where sparks can be viewed during top's operation. Works, sparks and spaceship slowly rotates. Plastic handle on top has a 1" hairline. Few minor marks to the dome cover but toy remains Exc. Exceptional design.
