Item Description
Complete set of five 7.25x10-1/8" softcover books published by West Cape Co. Ltd. in 1983 under their "W.C.C. Animation Comics" line that utilized original cel animation to present the original first season of the Japanese anime "Space Cruiser Yamato," which was retitled "Star Blazers" for American audiences. The books use digest footage that was already laid out and published for the Japanese market as "Film Comics." The English language editions offered here were printed in Japan and distributed by Books Nippan of Los Angeles, CA, the American branch of Nippon Shuppan Hanbai. Each book in if high grade, NM condition. From the collection of comics and illustration historian Brian M. Kane.
