Item Description
First is 1.25" with Bastian paper. Gorgeous color and dated for 1917 Field Day Penfield Fire Dept. NM. Next is 1.25" with tabbed on brass rope rim and holding back paper by Weber, Reading, Pa. Front depicts owl on tree branch with crescent moon and was issued for the Laurel Company in York, Pa. NM displaying Mint. Third is a 7/8" with back paper by Schlechter Co. of Reading. A beautiful rwb design issued for "Tag Day Sunbury, Pa." First we've seen and Mint. Next is 1.25" again with brass frame and also with fabric rosette and ribbon with ribbon naming Emmaus Fire Co. at Red Hill, May 31 (no date, but early 1900s). Tiniest wear on ribbon tips but rest is Mint. Last with a outstanding design of fireman blowing his trumpet all surrounded by a flower petal motif is 1.25" with back paper by Lilley of Columbus, Ohio. Ribbon text names "Five County Volunteer Fire Men's Association Tunkhannock, Pa. Aug. 31-Sept. 1 1899." Slight trace of ribbon soil but the celluloid itself is Mint. An outstanding group.
