Item Description
1.25" with rarely seen back paper naming Donnan Bros. Chicago. Upper left of paper has darker age mark. Front shows a bull inscribed "Taurus" across the body. Surrounding text "We'll Take The Bull/R.U. With Us?/Aug. 9-10-11/1923/To See Der Rabbits." This team was part of the Mississippi Valley League from 1922 through 1933. Cello has virtual pinpoint nick on the upper right back of the bull but barely seen. A few faint grey circular marks to the left of the bull's front legs and scattered around the date inscription but very minor and blending well with the cream colored background. Outstanding gloss. VF. A rare local issue.
