Item Description
First is large 2-1/8" button with two light moisture marks on the W&H paper. Depicted is very young boy in football uniform with above text "I'm With You Boys" and text below "Copyrighted Aug. 1901. By H.C.Reget, La Crosse, Wis." Many small light tan age marks to the left of the boy but rest is clean and with full gloss. Only example we've seen. VG. Next is 2.75" tall oval for Illinois 1919 picturing the apparent coach and a player. Curl names maker Parisian. NM displaying Mint. Last is 2.75" horizontal oval with reverse holding pair of 7" ribbons. Orange ribbon has 50% split about 2" down from the top plus a couple of crease lines on the ribbons. The button itself is NM displaying Mint. This 1926 issue pictures "Zup" (Head Coach Zuppke), "Kinley" (University President), "G" (Athletic Director George Huff), and "Kassel" (Team Captain). All are scarce limited and local issues.
