Item Description
First is 1.75" without back paper but this was a stock design from W&H. The imprint on this one, c. 1898-1900, reads "Free Street Fair, Winona, Minn., Sept. 11, 12, 13, 14." We believe this is the first we've seen with this imprint. Cello has light .25" scratch beneath one eye that catches reflected light but otherwise the cello surface is near flawless and with high gloss. Exc. Second button is 1.5" with a back paper by Ehrman, Boston. Reverse has narrow .25" cello split which makes the slightest bump on the left front at nine o'clock although hardly detectable unless viewed from the reverse. No text. Fabulous design and color. VF. First we've seen.
