Item Description
9.5x12.25" blue cloth hardcovers. Front of each cover features embosses bell design and has bw wrap-around dust jacket w/crowd at outdoor ceremony photo. Both DJs have moderate scattered edge wear, each w/a small missing piece but remain clean and VG-Fine. Both books contain bw and color pages w/full complement of glossy real photo cards and stamps glued into proper places. Most are bw, but some are full color. Album 1 has 128 pages. Back of book has nice four-part map showing Berlin Olympic grounds. Album 1 highlights include full page photo of Hitler returning autograph album to collector, photo of Sonja Henie and mention of Jesse Owens in text. Album 2 has 168 pages. Four full color plates including one w/Hindenberg flying over stadium. Photo highlights in Album 2 include several photos of Jesse Owens, full page photo of Hitler and generals saluting at opening ceremonies. Books are complete and Exc. to NM. High quality.
