Item Description
12x17" artboard has pen and ink original art by Erik Doescher and Mike DeCarlo. Artboard features one full body image of Superman in flight (w/head paste-over) as well as two portraits and single image of him from waist up, based on the popular "Superman: The Animated Series" cartoon produced 1996-2000. It was this waist up image that was used for 1990s Fossil watch sold exclusively in Warner Bros. Studio Stores as part of their "The Warner Bros. Watch Collection." This image was used on the dials of several different Fossil watches. One portrait image has been lightly circled in blue pencil. Art has been signed at lower right by Doescher, who provided much art for products featuring the casts of both the Superman and Batman animated series (see following items #1666-1667).
