Item Description
12x17" artboard has pen and ink original art by same artists as previous items #1665-1666. Art was produced for Hasbro for "SMA - Steel Justice SM" proposed action figure set as noted by handwritten inked text on back on "DC Comics Licensing Dept." inkstamp. Art depicts Superman wearing large mechanical apparatus w/large "S" shield on front and claw-firing mechanism firing over Superman's head. It appears that no toy was ever produced based on these designs. Doescher as signed below art. Exc. Franco Toscanini Collection.
