Item Description
34x51" stretched canvas silk-screened print in the shape of Superman's iconic "S" shield has wooden frame and depicts full body image of Superman in flight against his symbol. Printed and ©1995 DC Comics, these came in three different colors (w/Superman in yellow, red or this classic blue color uniform) as a limited edition, this has been numbered "52/100" on back in black marker and back has also been signed by Superman comic artists Tom Grummett and Brett Breeding as well as artist Steve Kaufman (1960-2010), who has added silver paint embellishments around Superman's image on front. Kaufman was an American pop artist, fine artist, sculptor, stained glass artist, filmmaker, photographer and humanitarian. His entry into the world of serious pop art began in his teens when he became an assistant to Andy Warhol, who nicknamed him "SAK" (as signed on reverse). NM. A truly dynamic display piece.
