Item Description
8.5x30.5" open front cardboard box w/nicely illustrated insert contains 30" long metal and plastic metal detector w/"Property Of U.S.S. Enterprise" sticker and handheld controller w/"NCC-1701 U.S.S. Enterprise Metal Detection Probe" sticker. Control has earpiece and adaptor for 9 volt battery. Jetco, ©1976 Paramount Picture Corp. Box insert features images of Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock using device, which is described as "This Authentic Detector Actually Detects Metallic Objects." Box remains tightly factory-sealed, though display area does have 1.25x2.5" tear and smaller .75" tear. Sides of box have slightest inward warp due to tightness of shrink-wrap. VF overall w/contents NM as packaged. One of the most inventive Star Trek items. Rare, especially as sealed.
