Item Description
9.75" tall solid plaster statue depicts young pregnant woman looking down while holding hat behind her. Front of base has incised "Kilroy Was Here!" text, indicating US soldier impregnated her. Incised copyright symbol and stock number on back of base. 1940s. Statue has even lt. aging and some scattered paint wear, mostly around base edge, which has a few tiny flakes. Fine/VF. While the small Hartland plastic figure depicting this same figure is common, this plaster statue version is rare and we have only offered a few in our 49 years. Eric Renner Collection and the example shown on page 228 of his book "American Disguise."
