Item Description
13.75" tall overall depicting the Yokum Family elder from Al Capp's "Li'l Abner" comic strip. A number of "Li'l Abner" characters were made as carnival statues (this is a nice match to previous item #1235). Faint copyright on back, 1940s. Dark glitter accents at collar and belt, though these show some wear. Front left base edge has production flaw, resulting in .5x1" area missing (not broken/repaired). Scattered lt. aging/wear, VF overall. Rare and first we've offered in our 49 years. Eric Renner Collection.
