6.25" long (9" long w/folding forks down) hard plastic and metal "Towmotor" forklift w/hard rubber "Goodyear" tires by Topping Company of Akron, OH. 1953. Topping is best known for high quality aircraft models and made very few other vehicles, one of which was this promotional produced for Towmotor Corporation of Cleveland, OH. Highly detailed w/hard plastic body and carriage, aluminum mast and forks. Model has counterbalance on underside and has manually-operated tilt control and carriage lift as well as movable forks. "Towmotor" decals on sides of body and mast w/body decals having darkened slightly from glue. Rare promotional model is o/w Exc.
