Item Description
11-7/8x13.75" stiff paper bread label album picture issued by Continental Baking Co. Inc., 1950s. © Kagran. Front features full color scene of "Howdy Doody Wonder Balloon Parade" and is designed w/16 designated areas where full color pictures were to be cut from bread labels and pasted into place. This example features all but one bread picture neatly cut and mounted at appropriate spots. These include - Howdy Doody, Flub-A-Dub, Princes Summerfall Winterspring, Dilly Dally, Clarabell, Oil Well Willie and others. Missing just Clarabell picture. Each is depicted as being face on balloon in parade. Reverse features illustrations w/information on Wonder Bread. A few of the bread pictures have darkened w/glue/age and sheet/pictures have some scattered handling wear w/margin wear. Fine overall. Comes w/unused 11-7/8x13.75" stiff paper bread label album sheet w/printed names at spots bread pictures were to be applied. Same content on reverse as first example. Sheet has lt. margin wear including pin holes at corners/along margins w/some small tears, but is o/w Fine/VF.
