Item Description
3.75x6.757/8" deep cardboard box w/illustrated window lid. Patent Watch Co., Inc. Early 1950s. © Bob Smith. Box lid/insert have "The Only Watch With Movable Eyes" text. Box lid shows obvious aging and scattered wear including some flaking to surface paper around window but retains its shape. Missing cellophane window. VG overall. Insert is clean and Fine/VF w/some scattered wear around die-cut slots that hold watch. Comes w/age-spotted guarantee slip. 1-1/8x1-3/8" chrome luster case watch features dial w/Howdy Doody's image and individual letters around each number spelling "Howdy Doody." These are surrounded by luminescent material, which still glows brightly. Watch comes w/original blue vinyl-covered leather band. Watch is NM, old store stock, but cannot be wound and would benefit from a cleaning. Scarce as boxed.
