Auction #187 - Part II
Item numbers 927 through 2489 in auction 187
Item Description
1930's. Came in a number of different sizes. This is 9.25" tall to tips of its ears. Missing button from ear and also tail. Otherwise complete including cardboard tag attached to chest, string whiskers and four mother-of-pearl buttons on pants. Moderate aging to the velveteen material, blue pants noticeably faded. Front of pants now tan, back a dull grayish-blue. Color on hands and shoes exhibit less fading, more so just aged. Still a very nice example overall. Stands well indenpendently. Aside from the noted aging, no notable defects to the doll itself. Fine. From the Gary Selmonsky Collection.
