Item Description
Ovaltine Premium. Original mailer envelope w/"Captain Midnight" return address and original cardboard insert. Envelope shows obvious wear/aging w/some moisture staining at lower left. VG. 4.5x6" manual/code book w/12 pages, contents include photo of Richard Webb as Captain Midnight, illustration/description of Silver Dart Decoder Badge, information on 15th Anniversary Captain Midnight Ovaltine shaker mug and Flight Commander Silver Signet Ring. Back cover has Flight Commanders promotion application which has been partially filled out in pencil. Some lt. handling wear but VF/Exc. overall. Single-sided 2.5x3.75" membership card w/large "1957" date. Card has had name inked and card has a number of small indents. Fine overall. 5-1/8x6.25" letter is folded as issued and has small moisture stain at top center. VG/Fine. 2.5" long bright silver plastic decoder badge w/removable red plastic nose piece that pulls out to reveal interior tube area for secret messages. Underside has bar pin mounted in a groove, this has been reglued w/some luster loss. Underside also has decoder wheel. Fine/VF. Kit also comes w/2.25" patch that issued as a separate premium offer in 1957. Unused and Exc. Membership kit is scarce as complete.
