Item Description
1989 Hasbro. Art of "Sci-Fi, Directed Energy Expert". Produced second version figure done in black/grey color scheme, not version done in green. 16x20" art board with painted original artwork with amazing detail in acrylic, ink and colored pencil. Background done in a wash and textured rocks under figure may have been added later (design studio sticker on reverse). Reverse also features Hasbro Confidential sticker. Painted by artist Dave Dorman, noted comic book artist and signed off by Hasbro artist Kurt Groen. Starburst sticker added at top "Weapons Really Shoot!". Small tip wear on sticker. Used as high end presentation piece within Hasbro to promote character for production. Tissue paper cover sheet has heavy wear, tears etc. Printed profile sheet comes along with fictitious biography of character. Beautiful and one of a kind. Art is NM as produced. Kevin Watts G.I.
