Same theme as item #1636 but much larger scale and this is non-musical. 21" tall to tips of ears, 25" to top of hat. 1930s. Has die-cut Mickey string tag which is worn with creases, Good. This doll also has cloth stuffed body with felt ears, felt jacket with braid accents and brass buttons, oilcloth belt with brass snap. Plush-covered hat with braid chin strap. Composition shoes. No baton or rubber tail (if it had one) but does have the original string whiskers. Face all over lightly tanned, hands have moderate aging, one with .25" fabric split. Jacket has fading most noticeable to front left half. Front bottom of left leg has .5" fabric split. Front bottom edge of left shoe has small .25"x.5" composition flake. Overall doll still retains a nice appearance for display and is quite impressive in its large size. Fine. First we've ever offered. From the Gary Selmonsky Collection.
