Item Description
Complete set of six ranging in height from 2-5/8" to 3-7/8" tall. Made in Germany by Hertwig, 1920s. From "Winnie Winkle" comic strip that began in 1920. Set includes Winnie Winkle, Perry Winkle, Ma Winkle, Pa Winkle, Patsy Winkle and Mr. Bibb. All have character names and "Germany" incised on back as well as name of creator Martin Branner. All elastic is tight. Winnie Winkle has had professional repair to clean break at point where legs meet dress and shows lt. paint wear at elbows and shoes. VF display. Rest are as nice as they come and NM overall.
