Item Description
Complete set of eight, ranging in height from 2-3/8" to 3-5/8" tall. Made in Germany by Hertwig, 1920s. From "Moon Mullins" comic strip that began in 1923, set includes Moon Mullins, Kayo, Uncle Willie, Aunt Mamie, Lord Plushbottom, Emmy Schmaltz, Mushmouth and Little Egypt. All have character names and "Germany" incised on back (and all but Moon Mullins and Kayo have creator Frank Willard's name). All elastics are tight. Moon Mullins is complete w/separate wooden stick cigar. Little Egypt has lt. paint wear and is VF. Rest are as nice as they come, Exc. to NM.
