Item Description
Complete 8-3/8x11" issue for March 2, 1962. Cover features John Glenn peering from behind the planet Earth as Project Mercury spacecraft orbits Earth in bkg. w/"Spaceman Glenn" cover story . Cover (w/o mailing label) has been boldly signed by Glenn in black felt tip pen. Back three-quarters of magazine is affected by gradated moisture staining, which becomes more severe the closer to the back of magazine; entire back cover is moisture stained. Front cover remains unaffected. Front has some red ink color touch-ups to corner creases and issue has pinch creases to spine. Issue of Good/VG overall, but signature remains bold and distinct. If matted and framed, would display nicely. Great image w/a bold signature. Comes with Hake's COA and PSA/DNA COA.
