Item Description
14x20" first and only printing (by Double-H Press) for Sept. 29-30, 1967 concerts at Straight Theater, a San Francisco, CA venue on Haight Street. Concert featured The Grateful Dead, The Sons of Champlin and "Other Groovies." Psychedelic art has image of Icarus-like winged man w/band photo of The Grateful Dead at center. Pyramid w/all-seeing eye at bottom center margin. "Class" written in blue felt tip pen at upper corners below "Dance" text. We have seen other examples w/similar notations. Inked "Save For Winfield Smith" notation at bottom right. Upper left has some corner creases and lower right margin has some spot of staining. Fine overall, though most issues could be easily matted out for a nice framed display. Scarce and desirable Grateful Dead poster.
