Item Description
21-5/8x45.5" heavy "Duckine" paper sign printed by John Igelstroem Co. in the 1920s. Sign features man in checkered suit and matching flat cap gesturing towards the "Marquette Tire Tool," a device "So Simple A Child Can Use It." This tire-changing tool is further advertised as "The Easy-Off And On-Tool." Sign has as-made folded over borders on reverse, the ones on sides made for insertion of string for hanging. Two heavy vertical creases. Sign shows obvious aging and wear w/splits at tears along/across left vertical fold and 7" split at man's face and by tool. 1.5" split at bottom of right vertical crease. Moisture staining along top and right fold. Good/VG. Rare.
