Item Description
Virgil Ross (1907-1996) was an American artist, cartoonist and animator best-known for his work on the Warner Bros. animated shorts. Offered here is an 10.5x12.5" sheet of animation paper w/colored pencil drawing of Bugs Bunny holding and scolding Babyface Finster (who is dressed as a baby but is in fact a dwarf gangster), from the 1954 "Baby Buggy Bunny" animated short. This scene is taken directly from the cartoon. Ross has signed in pencil at lower right. Exc.
