Item Description
21-7/8x24.5" thin cardboard silk-screened poster for March 17-20, 1938 personal appearance by Our Gang actor George "Spanky" McFarland at the State Hartford theater in Hartford, CT. Poster has portrait image of McFarland at upper right w/large shamrock image w/"In Person - Spanky McFarland - Star Of 'Our Gang' Comedies - Heading A 90 Minute Stage..." promotional text. Bottom margin has been unevenly trimmed, partially removing some text at bottom. "Also On Screen In St. Patrick's Greetings" text at bottom remains intact. Poster has even aging w/some corner tip wear/dust soiling. Fine overall, but would look nice framed. Scarce poster for live performance.
