Item Description
36.75" long (45.5" long to tip of bayonet) lever action repeater BB gun. Daisy Manufacturing Co., 1916. This is first model of Defender No. 40, which was made 1916-1918. Gun has rear sight which is adjustable w/elevator. Top of barrel has stamped text including BB gun model name, manufacturer, patent number, etc. Stock exhibits scattered wear to butt w/rubs and shallow .25" nick, impressions and some small scratches. Gun frame/lever and barrel shows some lt. scattered surface oxidation. Gun comes w/original canvas sling and separate stationary metal bayonet and is rare as such. Working and Fine overall.
