Item Description
Lot of 19 from two different 1930s sets. 15 are glossy card stock 1.25x2-1/8" with bw illustration on front, poem matching that image on the reverse. These cards are numbered. Cards are 1, 8, 11, 14-16, 24, 32, 34, 35, 37-39, 45, 50. Dutch issue probably candy or cigarette insert cards. Great images of Mickey and Minnie in different activities including dancing, playing instruments, pushing a stroller, riding a scooter, etc. Reverses have scattered aging with some surface paper loss where scrapbook mounted but most text remains. Fronts have scattered trace of aging, corner tip wear but retain a glossy finish and cards do not have creases. Fine. Four cards are 1x1-7/8" with full color illustrations and ad on back for French chocolates "Chocolaterie Rubis Verviers." All four feature Mickey, one of him washing Pluto. These are unnumbered but from a set of 60. Exc.
