Item Description
Lot of 12, each 3.5x5.5" from the early 1930s published in Germany. Each reverse has "Walter E. Disney" name along with company logo and name "Alleinhersteller." Great images of Mickey and Minnie including them playing instruments, holding bottles of champagne, riding a wooden motorcycle referred to as "Harley-Davidson," etc. One is designed with a squeaker mechanism insert although no longer works. Most have title imprint on front. Several are blank. Two feature same image of Mickey with flower and Minnie with umbrella but one is without imprint. The other has title and the aforementioned squeaker. Two also feature the image of them on motorcycle although one is without title imprint. Most reverses have been used, one with postmark of 1931. Scattered margin wear, fronts have traces of dust soiling which varies from card to card. Fine/VF. Nice group.
