5x7" printed on thin card stock w/blank back. ACC# R162. c. 1939 ©WDP. Features scene titled "My Hero!" from "Brave Little Tailor" short featuring Mickey & Minnie Mouse.
Other shorts/films featured in this series include Snow White, Ferdinand, Donald's Lucky Day, Practical Pig and others. Little is known about this rarely seen issue. There are 25 in the set but aside from a full set in the legendary Burdick Collection (now housed in the Metropolitan Museum Of Art) only a few have surfaced over the years. In our last two auctions, Practical Pig sold for $1,405 and Donald Duck Hockey Champ sold for $1,669. Aside from the one in this auction, those were the only other examples from this set we have offered in our 49 years. Tiny corner tip wear but totally bright, clean and NM. A true non-sports rarity.
