Item Description
From a series of three different "Kiddy-Lites" by Micro-Lite Co. Inc. of New York that also included Mickey Mouse (see item #1842) and Donald Duck. ©1938 WDE. Double-sided 2.75" tall thick die-cut cardboard Dopey figure and tin litho night light column/battery holder are attached to 3.75" dia. tin base. Column has wraparound design of Seven Dwarfs gathered around Snow White, who lies in bed. Three Dwarfs are depicted holding this style night light. Battery compartment is missing spring, so we are unable to test to see it light works, but night light is o/w complete w/cap/bulb. Tin pieces have scattered lt. wear w/spot of oxidation at top of column and aging to base rim, but remain glossy. Dopey figure exhibits lt. aging. Fine overall. Scarce.
