Item Description
10x15x2" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains complete 13-piece tin litho set. Ohio Art set No. 338A "Pink." ©1937 WDE. Box lid features nice art of Snow White serving Dwarfs tea along w/repeated images of rabbits and owls. Box has moderate even aging and scattered wear including corner creases and edge wear. Box is complete w/original die-cut insert and is free of tears/splits. Fine. Box contains three place settings, the largest piece is a 5.5x7.5" serving tray. Set also has three 2" dia. by 1-1/8" tall tea cups, three 2.5" dia. saucers, three 4" dia. plates as well as tea pot w/lid and 2" dia. creamer and open sugar. All pieces feature different images of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs including them playing instruments, drying dishes, etc. Some tiny scattered pinpoint paint nicks as boxed but set remains unused, totally bright and glossy. Overall Exc. and as nice as these tea sets come. Rare as boxed, only the second boxed Snow White set w/character specific box graphics we've offered in our 49 years.
