1.25". "Bastian Bros." on curl at 6 o'clock. Unlisted in Hake. Cartoon image of Taft swinging bells w/text "Ding Dong" while riding at the front of a "Steamroller" driven by Teddy Roosevelt in a Rough Rider hat. Extremely faint light gray toning at edges blending evenly and not detracting from the overall outstanding presentation and a less than .25" vertical scratch at 6 o'clock seen only in reflected light. Displays Exc. A truly rare 1908 Taft that is among the most outstanding cartoon buttons ever produced.
