Item Description
Stereoviews are 3.5x7" each. First is by "Littleton View Co." and features a young Roosevelt w/crossed American and Cuban flags and text "Lieut-Col. Theo. Roosevelt, Of The Rough Riders." Second is by "Works And Studios" w/text "Col. Theodore Roosevelt Of The Rough Riders- After His Return From Cuba." Both are copyright 1898 and distributed by "Underwood & Underwood". Some minor and trivial wear to boards. Clean and bright images. Exc. displaying Mint. Rebus button is 7/8" w/"The Campaign Novelty Co. W&H Co." back paper. Small raised bump on edge at 11 o'clock. The brilliant gold background has a few scattered tiny pinpoint dots of missing gold luster but is still over 99.8% complete. The aberrations are likely as made. Extremely Fine. Next is a 2.5" long silver luster vertical stickpin joined, almost invisibly, to the back of a brass (or possibly even gold) oval frame w/a very narrow edge on the front holding a cameo-like piece which has very high relief Wilson portrait. A beautifully constructed very striking and rare piece. Couple trivial tiny tarnish traces on the stickpin but essentially Mint as made.
