Item Description
The first five buttons are 1.25" and the sixth is 7/8". The last two ribbon badges are each about 4.5". Group begins with gorgeous logo button for "Trans-Mississippi And International Exposition/Omaha/1898." Reverse has W&H paper. Next is elaborately designed button for "Pan-American, Buffalo 1901." This features full figures of Liberty and a Native American along with a buffalo at the center of a dust pan. A few spots on the W&H paper. Next is a gorgeous art nouveau influenced button issued for the "Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition Seattle 1909." Bastian paper. Next with W&H paper is for "Panama-California Exposition San Diego 1915." Next from the same event but issued for "July 4th/Preparedness Day" has back paper by St. Louis Button Co. Next is small button with California symbols of redwood, bear and poppy with text "San Francisco 1915." Next are the pair of buttons on ribbon badges with the first serving as a ticket and with text "Admit One Opening Day Feb. 20, 1915." The second has text on the ribbon "Closing Day Saturday Dec. 4, 1915." Each of these buttons is 2.25". All eight pieces are in beautiful NM to Mint condition. An outstanding group.
